Bear Down Sunday: Game #16

It all comes down to today's game.  The Chicago Bears are 8-7 and the Green Bay Packers are 8-6-1.  The winner is the NFC North champ and goes to the playoffs.  The loser goes home and watches the layoffs on television.
The Bears blew their chance last Sunday, by collapsing against the Philadelphia Eagles.  My Global Traveler friends and Evil Zebra got a good laugh out of that one.  Actually, I laughed, too.  You either laugh or cry.
When I was in Green Bay's training camp, Mayor Jim Schmitt came out and greeted us all.  Yes, the Mayor came out to greet Johngy (and the others).  I am hoping the Packers show the Bears that same type of hospitality.
It does seem fitting to have these two teams battle for the spot though.  This is a great football rivalry.  I just hope the Bears can recall their glory days and rise to this occasion.
