Danny Glover has had a long and successful career, but he will probably be best remembered for his role in Lethal Weapon. That's not a bad thing. The Lethal Weapon franchise has been highly successful.
Matt and I met Glover at Flashback Weekend, one of my favorite celebrity conventions. Flashback always seems to get unique celebrity guests, who don't often appear at other such conventions.
Aside from being thinner than I remember, Glover looked great and was in great spirits. He gladly talked to the fans in his line and was part of a panel discussion.
As I stumbled and struggled to get behind his table for the photo, I resisted the urge to borrow "I'm too old for this...," his line from Lethal Weapon. I am sure he probably hears that hundreds of times. He probably even had to add that to his signature a few times at the convention.
It was great meeting Glover. He is a class act. Once again, Flashback Weekend brought an interesting guest to their convention.
