On the Beat with Jessica Bracamonte of the Chicago Bandits

The Johngy's Beat-Justin's World of Softball joint coverage of the Chicago Bandits continued Wednesday on Justin's site with Chicago Bandits Interviews, Parts 6-9.  Justin featured four interviews and today I am featuring Jessica Bracamonte.
A product of Michigan State University, Jessica is another Big 10 alum.  The outfielder is in her rookie season with teh Bandits.  Her career with the Bandits did not start right out of school though.  Knee surgeries derailed her professional career.
Jessica is testament to hard work and perseverance.  Making a comeback to the professional level of the NPF after two knee surgeries is no easy task.  In the interview, you can see how much she wanted to make it and how much she wants to stay.  She has a great attitude and a great outlook.
Like most rookies, her playing time is somewhat limited, but she is making the most of it, hitting near .400, with a home run.  She is making her case for the 2015 team.
To learn more about Jessica and the rest of the Bandits, go to ChicagoBandits.com.  Better yet, go to one of their remaining games!
My interview with Jessica can be found at Jessica Bracamonte Interview.
Jessica Bracamonte and me in Rosemont, IL-July 2014.
