At the Days of the Dead conventions, aside from the celebrities, I enjoy seeing some of the costumes that the fans wear. They range from pop culture icons to superheroes to ones I don't know (which might suggest that I am getting a bit too old for this).
I occasionally will get pictures with these fans, if their costume has significance. For instance, I never pass up an Aquaman!
I also sometimes take pictures like the one below. I don't even know what creature he (?) is supposed to be. It doesn't matter though. I like it because I look better than he does (at least I hope so). In fact, I'd like to hang with him for a night. Perhaps we could even go to a few bars, hoping the women might appreciate me more in comparison.
Then again, they might be attracted to him. They might want think they could change him. What if he was more popular than me? Then I'd really be blue.
I can't win here, can I?
Oh wait. What if he took the picture with me, thinking the same thought?
This is getting very ugly folks. I'm just going to quit while I am behind and call it a day.
