Athletes get trading cards. Why not celebrities? At least celebrities wearing athletic jerseys should get cards. I am doing my best to create cards for jersey-clad celebs. Today, talk show host Wendy Williams proves that she can see both sides of the debate, as she reps both sides of Florida.
Williams (not to be confused with Wendy O. Williams) was born in New Jersey and rose to fame while on a New York radio station. None of that explains why she is seen wearing the Marlins or the Rays jersey. Her show was syndicated, putting her all over America. Plus her acting and talk show gave her even more notoriety. Wendy's Celebrity Jersey Card shows her in mid-pitch, demonstrating good form.
While she shows decent form in her Marlins picture, she looks abit awkward throwing for the Rays. Also, the tied-off jersey works much better without a long shirt under it. Either way, it is good enough to land her on another Celebrity Jersey Card. Once again, these cards would pre-date the actual debut of each team, which bends the time continuum, but these are my cards and my rules.
