Introducing Dark History Con

Two months from now, I will be attending Dark History Con in Champaign, IL.  This promises to be an awesome time and I am not just saying that because I am involved in it.
Run by Brian Ward, Dark History Con is in its second year of "showcasing all the darker elements of history," including authors, filmmakers, writers and vendors, each with a unique connection to the darker side of history.
Take filmmaker John Borowski for example.  John has done a trilogy of documentaries on H.H. Holmes, Albert Fish and Carl Panzram.  He also has made short films and written two books.  His current project is is producing Bloodlines, a documentary on artist Vincent Castiglia, who paints in his own blood.  John is the perfect celebrity guest for Dark History Con and he is a great guest in general  I have met him several times at various conventions and he is always interesting.
John is just one of many fascinating guests on the Dark History Con roster.  Joining John will be Maureen Hughes (a true crime author), Jim Heater (paranormal investigator and host of Paranormal Geeks Radio), Kelly Banaski (freelance crime writer), Seth Ferranti (crime journalist) and more.
I am proud to be the Production Coordinator of Dark History Con.  That's a fancy title, which really means that I am doing whatever I can to help Brian get in contact with celebrity guests, promote the con and anything else I can do.
I will be writing updates here leading up to Dark History Con.  You can also get more info from DarkHistoryCon.com and the Dark History Con Facebook page.
