On the Beat with Natalie Hernandez of the Chicago Bandits 2015

Today, the Johngy's Beat and Justin's World of Softball joint coverage of the 2015 Chicago Bandits features infielder Natalie Hernandez.  The second year player knows her role on the team and is happy to contribute.
A native of California, Natalie had a successful career on the diamond for the University of Illinois-Chicago.  She joined the Bandits after an open tryout in 2014.
In 2014, Natalie had 39 at bats and hit .205, with one home run and 5 rbi's.  More importantly, she was called upon for pinch-running and late game defensive play.  She performed well in her role and found herself back on the team this season.
As of this writing, she is hitting .217, with one home run and 5 rbi's.  With many games left to play, Natalie figures to pass her 2014 numbers easily.
In the interview below, we talked about playing time, her preferred position, her coaching future and much more.  After you watch the video, check out ChicagoBandits.com for more info and updates.  Also, you can check out my midseason report on Tru School Sports at Chicago Bandits: Midseason Report.  More important, get yourself to the ballpark when the Bandits return home on July 23 for a 5 games homestand.
