Athletes get trading cards. Why not celebrities? At least celebrities wearing athletic jerseys should get cards. I am doing my best to create cards for jersey-clad celebs. We continue working our way alphabetically through major league baseball teams.
"Moneyball" provided a great look at the Oakland A's under Billy Beane. It also provided some Celebrity Jersey Card fodder, such as veteran actor Philip Seymour Hoffman, who portrayed A's manager Art Howe. This would really be an "in action" card. Unfortunately, PSH passed away in 2014.
Chris Pratt played Scott Hatteberg. The Washington native played four of his fourteen MLB seasons with the A's. They converted him from a catcher to a first baseman. Pratt is a big fan of Seattle teams, but he does look good in the green and gold on his Celebrity Jersey Card.
