On The Beat With John Kapelos At REWind Con 2016

Actor John Kapelos is a Chicagoan.  Oh, he might have been born and raised in Canada, but he is a "Chicago" guy for sure.  An alumnus of Second City, John has acted in quite a few Chicago-based movies.
I first really noticed John as janitor Carl Reed in The Breakfast Club, set and filmed in the Chicago area.  Actually, he made his big screen debut a couple years earlier in Thief, with James Caan.  Since then, he has been very busy and successful in movies and on television.
At REWind Con, we had the pleasure of interviewing John.  I asked him about working with the legendary Jackie Gleason and the young Tom Hanks in Nothing In Common (another Chicago-based movie) and he gave me an interestiing answer and a couple additional stories.
Along with meeting all of the fans at REWind Con, John was promoting his new musical project, Too Hip For The Room.  The 13 song jazzy CD is set for release on February 14, 2017.  You can keep up with that project on the Too Hip For The Room Facebook page.  You can also stay informed by following John Kapelos on twitter.
I really appreciate John taking time to talk to us.  It's always extra cool interviewing our favorites and John certainly has been one of our favorites for years.  Thanks to REWind Con for this opportunity.
