Jay Fife is one of my regular stops on the comic con scene. He is a pin-up and portrait artist, focusing on all aspects of horror, fantasy, sci-fi and comics. Among other talents, he is popular for his custom works. He also does a lot of creations involving personalities from TV and movies.
Working mostly with pencil, Jay somehow makes even the simplest drawing appear very lifelike. He is a master at making the images come alive. His renderings range from old school Julie Newmar Catwoman to recent image Joker and everything in between. He isn;t limited to just that area though. He has also done a wide range of subjects, including a beautiful Jackie Robinson commission.
