Celebrity Jersey Cards is a regular series in which I create virtual; trading cards for celebrities wearing jerseys. Today, we feature two one-name musicians.
Alecia Beth Moore was born in Doylestown, PA and rose to fame as Pink. Credited as one of the "real trailblazers" of the pop era, Pink has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. She is even among my top ten favorite artists of the last 20 years. Pink repped her home state by donning an Eagles jersey for her Celebrity Jersey Card. The #18 is currently worn by Josh McCown, but I think Pink would go old school with Roman Gabriel.
A native of Barbados, Robyn Rihanna Fenty is better known by her middle name only. She has racked up 14 #1 singles and 31 top 10 singles. Rihanna sported a Falcons jersey to earn her Celebrity Jersey Card. The #12 is currently worn by wide receiver Mohamed Sanu, but more famously worn by QB Chris Miller.
