Amy "Lita" Dumas at Days of the Dead Indianapolis 2017

Days of the Dead was scheduled to return to Indianapolis July 17-19. The weekend of horror fun has been postponed. While waiting for a reschedule date, I am recalling some of the fun times I have had at DotD over the years.
Amy "Lita" Dumas is one of the most decorated women wrestlers and certainly one of the pioneers of the modern era of women's wrestling. Making her pro wrestling debut in 1998, Amy made it to the WWE in 2000 and proceeded to carve out a Hall of Fame career. Amy was a four time Women's champ (before the title changed hands frequently), the 2001 WWE Woman of the Year and a member of the 2014 WWE HOF class.
I have met Amy many times, going way back to shortly after she started wrestling. That was at one of the Pillman Memorial shows. Most recently, I saw Amy at Days of teh Dead when she was with her former in-ring rival Trish Stratus.
Team Bestie was awesome in the ring and they are even better outside of it. I swear, they are more beautiful now than ever. More importantly, they are both sweet as can be.
Amy talks fondly of her days in the ring. She will forever be connected to Trish and that's fine with her. Amy also has played in some bands. Amy is a noted animal lover and has worked to raise money and awareness for animal rescue.
You can follow Amy on social media at @AmyDumas on twitter. Go to DaysoftheDead.com for all of the info on Indy and the other shows. Also, check Days of the Dead on Facebook for more frequent updates.

John,
A little late to the game as I binge your blog a week at a time. Loved this post. Since Patrick Mahomes II Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl LVI I found this...
You being a baseball card fan, and me being from Minnesota thought you would get a kick out of it. I uploaded a family photo of Mahomes Sr. , Jr. was an infant, and spouse (I think it's from 1995) in the HHH Dome. Would love a custom card from you Just a suggestion. Also watched 'Rookie of the Year' recently did you know that Neil Flynn from the TV show 'Scrubs', and most noteable 'The Middle' was the first baseman in that movie? Custom card of him would also be solid. Keep doin' what you're doing! Big fan from West Chicago!

Thank you for the compliments.
If you email the Mahomes pic (Johngy1@aol.com) or message it to me on FB, I will see what I can do.
I knew about Flynn, but I could only find one picture of him in the Cubs jersey and it is small and not a great pic.
