James Wylder at Wizard World St. Louis 2017

Back in 2017, my buddy Jack and I trekked down to St. Louis, MO for Wizard World. While the St. Louis con was smaller than Chicago's event, I still found plenty of talented folks, including James Wylder.
A native of Indiana, Wylder's first published story was "The Waiting Crowd" in the 2005 issue of "Genesis Arts." Since then, he has written poems, novels and a full-length play.
One of Wylder's creations is 10,000 Dawns, as seen below. Wyler describes 10,000 Dawns as  "a place where the possibilities you wondered about where your life could have gone are real, and the future is dark." Set hundreds of years in the future, it focuses on main characters Graelyn and Archimedes. Their adventure includes revolution, alien invasion and traveling between parallel worlds. It's fantasy, fiction, action-packed and a bit funny. It's a highly entertaining read.
God Save the Pres.! is another of his books. It features Zoey Hartnell mixed up in a political world.
Wylder has several other works of literature. All are available for purchase or perusal on his site.
Go to JamesWylder.com for more info on Wylder. Wizard World Chicago was just announced for October 15-17. Check WizardWorld.com for updates on their conventions and other events.
