I Re-Found Scarlet Bordeaux at Blizzard Brawl 2017

With Great Lakes Championship Wrestling's Blizzard Brawl returning Saturday, December 3, I started doing pre-event coverage. In the process, I found a forgotten gem.
As you have seen over the last 14 years of this site, I have met a lot of celebrities from all fields of entertainment. Occasionally, I have forgotten one. Such was the case with Scarlett Bordeaux.
A native of Chicago, Bordeaux debuted in 2012. Since then, she has wrestled for Luche Libre, Impact and others, including WWE, where she currently is. She ranked 89 of the top 100 female wrestlers in the PWI Female 100 of 2019.
I have been going to Blizzard Brawl in Wisconsin for years. SuperFriend and wrestling promoter David Herro runs a great show and I meet so many wrestlers there, one of whom was Bordeaux, only I completely forgot. Most would think it's no big deal and in the grand scheme it isn't, but i get nutty about these things.
I was talking to a bud about local wrestlers and I mentioned I never met Bordeaux, despite her being fairly available on the wrestling scene on and off over the years. Somehow, she had escaped my camera and me. Then one day, I was reorganizing files on my pc and I came across the Blizzard Brawl folder. There she was.
As most things are with me, this was bittersweet. I am glad I did meet her (and I do remember the actual encounter now), but I wonder if I am forgetting others I met. I'm guessing there are a few, but "then again too few to mention," as the song goes.
I won't go too far with this. I will just be happy I did rediscover the picture with Bordeaux and I will take her name off the list I want to meet.
Go to the GLCW Facebook page for news and updates on Blizzard Brawl 2022. Also, check here for my recurring coverage and possibly more "discovered" encounters.
