When I was a kid, Evel Knievel was about as cool as it gets. The motorcycle daredevil was famous for jumping things, such as the fountains at Caesar's Palace. I had an Evel action figure, which was one of my favorites, despite it being a solo figure. I couldn't do much with it, because there were no other figures with him, but it was still cool because it was Evel. It was my first action figure of a real person.
Fast forward to the present and I saw my pal Jim with Krysten Knievel, Evel's granddaughter. Now I feel really old. Krysten is one of several musicians Jim has suggested to me. Scheduling has prevented me from seeing Krysten perform, but that has to change sometime soon. While she doesn't have her own YouTube channel, there are some good videos of her performances there. For now, that will have to do.
