I first heard of Serendipity through my friend Jim. He had seen the band and highly recommended them. Last year, when I saw they were playing a few blocks from my place, I finally saw them and was impressed.
The band did a solid 90 minute set of covers. They had enough banter to add some fun, but not detract from the music. They were tight on their instruments and powerful on their vocals.
I kept an eye on the Wednesdays on the Green Schedule for this year and when I saw Serendipity slated, I circled the date on my calendar. Once again, they put on a fantastic show.
