Celebrity Jersey Cards is a weekly series in which I create virtual trading cards for celebrities wearing sports jerseys. Today, I continue my season-long alphabetical journey through all Major League Baseball teams.
Born in Florida, Cassadee Pope is a pop and country singer. She was the lead vocalist and songwriter of the band Hey Monday, before embarking on a solo career. Her first solo album debuted at No. 1 on Top Country Albums chart. More recently, she returned to her pop punk roots. Pope earned a Celebrity Jersey Card after singing the National Anthem for the Kansas City Royals.
A native of San Francisco, CA, Aisha Tyler is an actress, director and talk show host. Among her most known roles, she co-hosted several seasons of The Talk, for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host. More recently, she hosted Whose Line Is It Anyway? Tyler played in the Big Slick charity softball game to earned her Celebrity Jersey Card. Clearly she was safe on the play.
