Running March 29-30 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Squared Circle Expo IV is less than two months away. My countdown actually started as I drove home from SCX III.
Among the other highlights, already announced is an SCX Championship match with Matt Cardona defending against Ultimo Drago. That's a match that could headline any card and it is only a small part of the two day extravaganza that is SCX.
Both men are also meet-and-greet guests, joining about 70 other wrestling stars and legends. There are also Q&A's, panels, photo ops and more. Cardona and UD are wrestling on Saturday night, the second night with a full wrestling card.
SCX is at the top of my convention list. I have met more than 200 awesome wrestlers in the previous three years attending SCX. The meet-and-greets are my favorite parts, but I also spend time in each of the other areas.
My only disappointment for this year is Chelsea Green will not be accompanying hubby Cardona. That's not the fault of the hard-working SCX promoters. While in the WWE, she will not be doing independent conventions. Trust me, if she was available, the promoters probably would have gotten her again. Even without Chelsea, there are plenty of other great wrestling stars to meet.
