Friend Encounters: Kelli Maroney and Michael West

Friend Encounters is a weekly series in which I feature friends who have met celebrities.

Today is another example of two of my convention celebrity friends together. Over the many years of meeting Kelli Maroney and Michael West at conventions, we have become friendly, whether they like it or not.
Kelli has been one of my celebrity crushed since my teen years, when she was on television's Ryan's Hope. Kelli went to to One Life to Live and to movies including Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Chopping Mall. I had the pleasure of interviewing Kelli years ago and that can be found at On the Beat With Kelli Maroney.
Author Michael West has been a convention stop of mine for about 10 years. My first interview with him was in 2012 and can be found at On the Beat With Michael West. Indiana-based, Michael focuses on horror in his books. He has several books now and most of them are on my book shelf, with the remaining couple to be bought the next time I see him at a convention.
I wonder what Michael and Kelli discussed. Does Michael have a movie in mind from one of his books? Would Kelli play one of his characters? The genre is right.
Michael and Kelli are two of the nicest folks I have met on the con scene. Michael usually splits his time between his booth and meeting celebrities. It's always fun for me to see who my con friends like to see at the cons.
I miss Kelli and Michael. I miss the cons. Hopefully, by the end of this year, some bit of normalcy will return and maybe I can squeeze in one con.
