Mickey's career started in 1927 and as of 2008, he was still performing. That's 80 years and over 300 movies/tv shows. He has won an Oscar, an Emmy and a Golden Globe Award.
Jan Rooney is also an actress. Jan and Mickey have been married since 1978. Not only is this Mickey's longest marriage at 30+ years, it is longer than the sum total of Mickey's previous 7 marriages.
I can't say I am a huge fan of either Rooney, but meeting a legend is always cool. Mickey and Jane were very gracious and funny. It was refreshing to see someone with Mickey's credentials be so fan-friendly.
