#ThrowbackThursday Jordynne Grace

Back in 2013, when I worked with Resistance Pro Wrestling, a young Jordynne Grace made an appearance. Earlier this year, she was one of the biggest surprises at WWE's Royal Rumble.
Always looking to interview new incoming talent, I talked to Jordynne. My interview with her is at On the Beat with Jordynne Grace.
Jordynne was a young veteran at 17 when I met her. She had been wrestling for about four years already. Still young and green, you could see real potential in her. She had the passion, strength and ability.
Fast forward to current times, she is one of the hottest wrestlers in TNA Impact Wrestling. Over the years, she gained muscle, then leaned out. She also gained experience and honed her skills. Somehow, she also seemed to gain natural charisma. While she wasn't an introvert when I met her, she now really knows how to work a mic and the crowd.
As the reigning and three-time woman's champ, she is making history in TNA, but I see her future in the WWE. She has what it takes to be a force in the women's division and she is still only 27, at the early part of her prime.
This is why I take pictures and try to get interviews as often as I can. Jordynne was a young, relatively unknown wrestler from Texas, but is now a big name.
On a side note, I was dressed as Rowdy Johngy Piper because it was a Halloween-themed show and most of us were in custome. Jordynne could have come as a future champ!

Jordynne Grace's "DM's of a Female Indy Wrestler"

Jordynne Grace made her wrestling debut at the age of 15 and has been building her wrestling career since. Still only 22, Jordynne has more than 7 years of in-ring experience.
I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Jordynne a few years ago at Resistance Pro. Check out our interview at On the Beat With Jordynne Grace at Resistance Pro. It was a Halloween theme show, which explains my Rowdy Johngy Piper outfit in the picture below.
Jordynne has created an interesting concept for a book. In DM's of a Female Indy Wrestler, Jordynne compiled 28 pages of DM's she has received via Facebook, twitter and Instagram over the years. She promises they are "funny, gross and absurd."
The book was so popular, she published DM's of a Female Indy Wrestler: Volume 2. This edition has 30 pages and a quote from Joey Ryan.
In addition to the entertainment from reading the DM's, buying the book benefits RAINN  (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. Jordynne is giving 10% of all profits to RAINN.
Go to JordynneGraceWrestler.com to check out all of her merchandise, including her books, pictures and tshirts, and to get other info on Jordynne. You can also follow Jordynne on Facebook and follow Jordynne on twitter.

On the Beat at Resistance Pro's "Welcome to My Nightmare"

Resistance Pro's last event, Welcome to My Nightmare, was a fantastic evening of exciting pro wrestling, cool costumes by all, tricks, treats and Svengoolie!  Who could ask for more?
Every R Pro show is special, but the Halloween show is uniquely special.  (Is that redundant?)  In any case, the Halloween show is a lot of fun because most in attendance are in costumes and that includes the wrestlers, the fans and even the R Pro owners.  It is magically surreal.
As Rowdy Johngy Piper, I scored some interviews with a mix of the R Pro talent.  JohngysBeat.com got Vector A before and after his title match with Egotistico Fantastico (aka "The Ego" Robert Anthony).  We got Road Warrior Andres the announcer.  We got Lucy Mendez, Mad Man Pondo and Crazy Mary Dobson and newcomer Jordynne Grace.  We even got musician and R Pro fan Professor Kliq.  Oh, did I mention we got Billy Corgan, Creative Director?  All of those interviews can be viewed below.
It was another great show.  I know this seems like a repeat of last month's piece about the previous R Pro show, but that is only because R Pro continues to put on great shows and I continue to try to tell everyone.
Watch the interviews below and see some of the R Pro talent.  Head over to ResistancePro.com to learn more.  Come out to n R Pro show and see for yourself.  As a matter of fact, there is an R Pro show tomorrow at Amundsen High School in Chicago.
