On the Beat With Michele Mupo

I don't even remember how I first came across Michele Mupo. It had to be in some entertainment related story online. I know I met her for the first time at a convention in Oaks, PA in 2008. I have followed her career since and it has been quite a career and it is continually evolving.
Michele has done a lot of work in the entertainment industry. She has been involved in major projects in music, television, books and more. She is constantly busy.
Michele fascinates me. She has accomplished so much, but she remains so very humble. That might be helpful when she does ghost-writing, but it is unique and refreshing, especially in the entertainment world. Those who know her and entertainers of all sort know the contributions she has made.
I have wanted to interview Michele for many years, but I haven't seen her in a while. The quarantine has forced me to do video interviews, but it also has opened the door for me to interview folks I have always wanted, like Michele.
In our interview, Michele talks about Mupo TV and her other projects. As usual, Michele has a lot going on. The Mupo Entertainment empire is growing and it will be huge. Television shows, books, podcasts and other artistic endeavors are coming.
Perhaps the best part of Michele's work is her dedication to causes. She is helping United States veterans and has more plans for the future. Her Keep The Peace project has already made an impact and continues spreading positivity.
I really appreciate Michele for her time and for what she is doing to better this world. I look forward to seeing what Michele produces next. After you watch our interview, check out MupoTV.com and look for Michele Mupo and Mupo TV all over social media.

Friendly Encounters: Michele Mupo Meets Kamar de los Reyes

This is a weekly series featuring friends who have met celebrities.

Michele Mupo (aka Fuchsia) has to be one of the busiest people I know.  She is also one of the most talented.  She is involved in music, entertainment, television, wrestling, charity and much more.
Michele is the President of MUDA MultiMedia Entertainment.  She produces The Michele Mupo Daily, which has been known to feature some of my pieces.  It is always full of fun stuff and definitely worth a look. Michele's pet project is Keep the Peace.  You can check out Keep the Peace on Soundcloud, along with some of Michele's other songs.
Michele has met a ton of celebrities (probably more than me).  One of those celebrities is former One Life to Live actor Kamar de los Reyes, as seen in the picture below.
I was lucky enough to meet her once, but hope to catch her again sometime.  In the meantime, I will keep reading The Michele Mupo Daily, following Fuchsia on twitter and enjoying her music, like Keep the Peace!

Friendly Encounters: Michele Mupo Meets Lisa Marie Varon

This is a weekly series about friends who have met celebrities.

Both of today's featured people are celebrities whom I have met and consider friends.  They are both very cool and dynamic ladies.
As a professional wrestler, I always assumed Lisa Marie Varon could probably put a hurting on me, despite her very sweet demeanor.  Up until I saw the picture below, I never gave much thought to Michele's strength.  Now I have to wonder if I would stand a chance against either lady.  I digress however, as this piece is not about their physical strength.
I guess you could say that this is about their inner strength.  LMV has excelled in the male-dominant cut-throat world of professional wrestling.  With or without the title, she is one of the all-time greats.  That did not just happen,  It took a lot of hard work and perseverance.
Through it all though, LMV has remained grounded.  She is sweet, funny, outrageous and more.  I have interviewed and talked to her several times and she is simply awesome.
Michele is also a woman of strength.  The multi-talented woman known as Fuchsia has many titles in her professional life.  She is a ball of action, seemingly never stopping and hardly even slowing down.
Yet, Michele finds time...makes time to continually support our troops.  She created the music video Keep the Peace.  You can get a ton of great info and also donate to the project, by going to Keep the Peace.  It's a beautiful tune done for a fantastic cause by a wonderful woman.  That's a great trifecta!  You can learn more about Michele by following Fuchsia on twitter.
Back to Lisa Marie Varon, she is keeping busy with The Squared Circle , her restaurant in Chicago.  I wrote about my great experience there for the Patch.com.  In short, it is excellent and LMV is there often.  You can check it out online at theSquaredCircle.biz.
These ladies probably have a bunch f pictures together, but the one below is my favorite.  It demonstrates the fun these women have.  It also shows the strength of Michele.  I guess if I am going to take on these women at some point, I will need a strong tag team partner.

Friendly Encounters

This is a weekly series about friends who have met celebs.

Michele Mupo (aka Fuchsia) has made several appearances on Johngy's Beat.  Michele is a singer, song-writer, sitcom writer, agent to the stars and much more.  She seems to be constantly adding titles and ventures to her portfolio.
Michele is currently working hard on her Keep the Peace video project.  Michele wants to make a change and help create peace.  She wants to make the music video to raise awareness to our troops.  Michele is accepting donations through the site.  You can get a Keep the Peace ringtone or single and you can even be an extra in the video.  How cool is that?
I am hoping to be an extra in the video.  I want to see this all come together and I will keep writing updates as they develop.
You can help Michele with the project by going to the Keep the Peace Music Video project page.  I think Keep the peace is great and so is Michele.  Check out Michele's site and check out her Keep the Peace video project.  You can also follow the Real Fuchsia on twitter and on Fuchsia's Facebook page.

Friendly Encounters

This is a weekly series featuring friends who have met celebs.

In October of 2009, I trekked out to Oaks (PA) for the Ultimate Collectibles Show, a huge celebrity convention.  This was one of the best conventions I have ever attended.  It had so many celebrities from all fields of entertainment and they were all so accommodating.  It is also where I met Michele Mupo for the first time.
Michele (aka Fuchsia) is a lot of things...singer, song-writer, sitcom writer, agent to the stars and certainly much more.  Michele has a ton of musical talent.  You can check that out for yourself by going to her MySpace page for a listen.  She is also the President of MUDA Multimedia Entertainment LLC.
Currently, Michele is working on her Keep the Peace video project.  Michele wants to make a change and help create peace.  She wants to make the music video to raise awareness to our troops.
You can help Michele with the project by going to the Keep the Peace Music Video project page.  I think Keep the peace is great and so is Michele.  Check out Michele's site and check out her Keep the Peace video project.

Friendly Encounters

This is a weekly feature highlighting friends who have met celebs.

This is a different sort of Friendly Encounters, because Michele Mupo (aka Fuchsia) is the friend, but she is also a celeb. I met Michele for the first time last October, but I had been a fan of her work for a while. Recently, Michele was in the recording studio with former WWE champion Mickie James to work on a future project. This is quite a tag-team!
Michele is a dynamo. She writes (music and scripts), sings and represents celebrity talent with her agency. Michele's music can be heard on YouTube and her site. Her site features seven songs, covering different styles. There is even a version of the Star Spangled Banner. I think my favorite is Real.
Mickie's first album can be found at Country Showcase. You can also hear a sample, as well as learn more about Mickie. Mickie's musi
cal career is just starting, but it is going well. She'll be opening for Gretchen Wilson in the near future.
I encourage everyone to give both Michele and Mickie a listen. I also thank Michele for sharing this here.

Friendly Encounters

This is another in a series of meetings of my friends and celebs.

When I last featured Michele Mupo, I talked about meeting her for the first
time at the Ultimate Collectibles Show. After seeing and reading about Michele all over the place, it was great to finally meet her. It has been a few months and I figured it was time for an update from the woman also known as Fuchsia.
Fuchsia's song Keep the Peace on YouTube is getting great response and continues to get more views. It's an excellent song, with a lot of great pictures shown throughout the video. Michele also has a few of her other songs on her MySpace page. My favorite is Never Forever, although I really liked all of them.
Michele recently told me she is busy writing a sitcom (keep me in mind if you need a wacky neighbor). She is also working on her cd.
As if all of that doesn't keep Michele busy enough, she mentioned that she will be on Cynthia Gibb's dvd on vocal lessons. The dvd should be coming out soon from Cool Music, Inc. Somehow I missed Gibbs at the Ultimate Collectibles Show, but Michele didn't (as seen below).
Oh and I almost forgot, Michele Mupo and Associates represent over 50 star clients. Many of her clients are big names in the wrestling industry, but her non-wrestling star list is expanding rapidly.
Michele seems to have her hand in everything. I am just grateful she took a few minutes to give me her update to share with all of you.

Stoked to Meet Michael Rodrick

Recently at the Ultimate Collectibles Show in Oaks (PA), I finally met Michele Mupo. Michele was there with actor Michael Rodrick.
Rodrick has had a recurring role as Stokes on tv's 24, among other acting credits. Actors on current tv shows are not common at these conventions. It was interesting to see Rodrick. He had a good line of women and men waiting to spend a few minutes with him.
Rodrick was very cool. He seemed happy to be there and comfortable with the fans. Rodrick's appearance was welcomed by the fans and was a great move for his career. I am sure he gained a bunch of new fans at the show.

Johngy Meets Fuchsia (Michele Mupo)

I don't remember when I first heard of Michele Mupo. I just remember it seemed like she was all over the place. I saw her in pictures on WrestlingFigs.com. I probably also saw her at various conventions, but I can be oblivious at times and I might have not realized it.
Michele is a multi-talented multi-tasker. She is a singer and songwriter. You can sample her musical talent on her MySpace page. Also, check out 'Keep the Peace' on YouTube.
She also books talent through her company, Michele Mupo Associates. Her client list is filled with great wrestling stars such as Tammy Sytch, Christy Hemme, Terri Runnels and Lanny Poffo. She also has several non-wrestling clients like Michael Rodrick (of tv's 24) and actress Traci Bingham.
While in the Philadelphia area last weekend for Global Traveler magazine, I saw Michele (with Michael Roderick) at the Ultimate Collectibles Show. It was great to finally meet the red-haired dynamo.
Michele has met many fascinating people and is involved in so many things now. I hope to share more of Michele's story here in the future.
