Flashback Weekend starts tomorrow and runs through Sunday. Of course, I will be there creating new memories, but for now, I am recalling fun times from previous years at Flashback Weekend.
I first met Sarah French at Flashback Weekend 2011. My interview with her from that show can be found at On the Beat with Sarah French.
Sarah got an early start in acting by making her own movies when she was 15. They were mainly horror movies and she hasn't strayed far from that genre as her career blossomed.
Sarah has been with author/actor/screenwriter Joe Knetter for many years. Joe played the killer in her first movie, You're Next 3: Pajama Party Massacre. They are really a fun couple. They have been great to me with several interviews, which you can find on the Johngy's Beat YouTube channel. One of those interviews had some teenage Johngy's Beat interns asking the questions. Sarah and Joe were very patient and very cool to do it.
Currently, Sarah has several films in some stage of completion from pre-production to filming to post-production. In other words, you will see plenty of her in the near future and she will be quite busy as always.
I haven't seen Sarah or Joe in a few years. They moved from Minnesota to California and haven't come back for conventions yet, but I keep hoping for a return. I really appreciate all of the fun I have had with both of them.
